Cong, BJP spar over Lalit Modi’s claim of ‘meeting Gandhi family’ in London
In a series of tweets, the former IPL boss claimed that he was “happy to meet the Gandhi family at a restaurant in London”.
“I had run into Robert and Priyanka separately,” Lalit Modi said in a tweet.
Commenting on Lalit Modi’t tweets, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that “neither Priyanka Gandhi nor Robert Vadra has ever interacted socially with Lalit Modi”.
“If you see an individual in a restaurant full of people, it is neither a crime nor it is morally wrong,” Surjewala said.
