As part of the Purex Insiders promotion group, I
received a free bottle of Dial Miracle Oil: Marula Oil Body Wash
for the purpose of this review.
If you’re anything like me, and you live in a cold state that had a harsh winter (ahem..Maine), you know just how important it is to have products on hand that can moisturize your dry and cracking skin. I hate that the winter makes my skin rough and even makes it harder for me to apply makeup. Along with this, I also have sensitive skin, so the combination is brutal. I love to use a variety of products to help me lock in and retain moisture. Lately, I have been all about the oils (and it seems like everyone else is, too). One that I had never heard of is Marula Oil..
Marula Oil comes from the nuts of the Marula tree, which is native to South Africa. It has been used by centuries by the native women for cleaning, washing, and massaging. They also use Marula oil as a staple part of their diet and to help preserve meat (although I wouldn’t recommend you doing that with the Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash 😉 ). Marula Oil is made of a great combination of monounsaturated fats and antioxidants which give it its moisturizing qualities.
The Dial Miracle Oil: Marula Oil Body Wash has a light, slightly nutty and slightly floral scent; it is definitely a scent that I haven’t smelled before, which makes my shower seem even more like an exotic getaway! It lathers up nicely and after using it for more than a week, I have seen an improvement at least on some of the areas of my body that were plagued with dry and cracking skin. It makes your skin feel very soft, while also doing a good job of cleaning, so you won’t feel as though you need any additional soap — its like a lotion and soap all in one!
The Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash is available at most major retailers
throughout the country. Dial also carries a Miracle Oil hand soap made from the same formula, as well as a variety of other Miracle Oil products — if you love Coconut Oil you should check them out.
